I tend to shoot events in color, especially weddings and mitzvahs that often have color themes carried through the clothing, decor, floral arrangements and more.  But there was something about this grandfather helping his grandson fix his tie as they prepared for the wedding that cried out for black-and-white photography.  The gap in their ages, the very act of teaching, the tenderness of the moment — all timeless, which b&w really emphasized.
